Terms and Conditions

These terms explain how an engagement with Argenius works: what we build, what we need from you, how payment and ownership work, and which courts apply if something goes wrong.

The agreement

These terms apply when you use argenius.in, send an enquiry, or ask Argenius to design or build a website, custom web application, ecommerce store, Laravel system, SEO work, or a mobile app.

If we send a written proposal, statement of work, or invoice with extra project terms, that document sits on top of this page for that project. Marketing copy on the website is not a substitute for the scope we confirm in writing.

Who we are

Argenius is a web development studio based in Janakpuri, New Delhi. We work with teams in Delhi NCR and take remote projects across India. City pages on this site describe who we serve; they are not extra offices.

Enquiries and proposals

An enquiry through the form, email, or phone is a request for a conversation. It is not an order. We may ask follow-up questions, decline work that is a poor fit, or suggest a smaller first step.

A proposal is valid only for the period stated on it. Prices, timelines, and included features are estimates until both sides confirm the same document in writing — including email confirmation.

Scope of work

We build what the confirmed proposal describes: typically information architecture, interface, engineering, and a maintainable handoff. Anything outside that list — extra pages, new integrations, content writing, photography, paid ads, or app-store accounts — is a change request.

Change requests are quoted before we start them. Work paused while we wait for content, access, or decisions is not a delay on our side.

What we need from you

You supply truthful requirements, brand assets you have the right to use, product rules, and timely feedback. You keep accounts, domains, and third-party subscriptions in your name unless we agree otherwise in writing.

You are responsible for the legality of your business, the claims on your website, and any licence needed for software, fonts, stock, or data you ask us to include.

Fees and payment

Fees are those in the confirmed proposal or invoice. Unless that document says otherwise, work is billed in stages and later stages start after the previous invoice is paid.

Late payment may pause delivery. Third-party costs — hosting, domains, SMS, payment-gateway fees, app-store charges, stock licences — are yours unless the proposal says we will purchase them on your behalf and invoice them separately.

Refunds, if any, follow the written proposal for that project. Website marketing does not promise a free trial or a money-back ranking guarantee.

Intellectual property

You keep ownership of materials you provide. After full payment for a project, you own the custom design and code we produced for that project, excluding third-party libraries, fonts, plugins, and tools that remain under their own licences.

Until invoices for that work are paid, we retain the custom work. We may show completed public work in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing to keep it confidential.

We may reuse general knowledge, internal snippets, and non-client-specific patterns in other projects.

Third-party services

Hosting, analytics, payment gateways, maps, email, and app stores are separate products. Their uptime, pricing, and policies are not controlled by Argenius. We can help you choose and configure them; we do not warrant their continuous availability.

No ranking or revenue promises

Search positions, traffic, app-store placement, and sales depend on your market, content, competitors, and platforms we do not control. We do not guarantee first-page rankings, a number of leads, or a revenue target.

SEO or performance work is delivered as the tasks and recommendations in the proposal — not as a bought position in Google or an app store.

Acceptable use of this website

Do not misuse argenius.in: no scraping that degrades the service, no injection attempts, and no submitting false enquiries. We may block access that looks like abuse.

Warranty and liability

We take reasonable care with the work we deliver. After handover, further changes, hosting incidents, plugin updates, and content you add are outside the original warranty unless a support arrangement says otherwise.

To the fullest extent allowed by Indian law, Argenius is not liable for indirect loss, lost profit, lost data, or business interruption. Our total liability for a project is limited to the fees you paid us for that project in the three months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that Indian law does not allow to be limited, including liability for fraud.

Confidentiality

We treat your unpublished product plans, credentials, and commercial figures as confidential and use them only to deliver the work. You treat our unpublished pricing, internals, and unreleased methods the same way.

Ending work

Either side may stop a project by written notice. You pay for work completed and third-party costs already committed. We hand over paid work in the state it then exists. Unpaid custom work is not transferred.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes that cannot be resolved by discussion.
